A fabulous off licence, catering to casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Great selection of local Yorkshire ales, especially their peerless Sam Smith's range. Some smashing wines, including great bargains. Good whisky and gin selection, too- expect to see more Armagnac in the coming years as single malt drinkers discover this superior French brandy. Staff are a real treasure, too, and lovely to be around. Always a great experience.

An excellent range of local and not so local beers, wines and spirits. Friendly staff too!

For a small shop they manage to stock a very wide range of quality beers, a good many from local breweries too (York Brewery, Wold Top, The Great Yorkshire Brewery and very many more). They've a very good range of spirits too, including ports by Niepoort (I love their LBVs) and many whiskeys and gins. Prices are sensible too.
