We went for an event so not a normal night. Was very busy, unsurprisingly, yet the staff were friendly and attentive even though they were clearly running around crazy!

Food for the event was fantastic and the wine pairings were perfect.

Just to note it is very warm in there! Perfect for the winter but summer was a struggle. Kept going outside for some fresh air

Sadly a disappointment and a shame as the visit was a Christmas gift. Seated at a reserved table in the window, felt like we were on display, initial drink offered quickly. The deli platter was ordered and we were thrilled at the cheese menu, until we were corrected with an updated version which was under par with what we had looked at, cheddar & red leicester something I have in my fridge. Goats cheese, mozzarella and 5 choices of blue cheese, not a wide selection to choose from. The Parma Ham had dried out and we had asked for extra bread, at £5 expected more than the 5 strips of pitta offered, which was swiftly returned, 13 guests that we could see and were told it was hectic, no offer of another drink. I was nothing short of irritated by the low standard and poor service. My partner & I have been here before but it's standards have declined for sure. We would have happily purchased bottles of wine as we have done previously, honestly they didn't deserve me spending any extra cash. You need to do better!

An excellent little gem of a place. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable; the choice of wines are fantastic. An extra treat was live acoustic music provided by Danny Pollard. I'm actually looking forward to the Autumn now with this cosy bar to spend time in.
