Great little cafe with a good selection of well made comfort food delights. Light bites and healthy too. Nice cakes and pastries as well…

Came in for a spot of breakfast before our morning walk. It may have been drizzly outside, but the service was warm and welcome.

The food was piping hot and the bacon was particularly good. Have came here before and will continue to do so.

A respected cafe with great looking food. Sadly my experience didn’t live up to expectations. I was “welcomed” by a girl with no social skills. My order wasn’t taken down correctly and the older lady who was cooking seemed totally indifferent about it.

In the end I took what I was given, had one bite and the rest of the soggy mess went in the bin.

I’ve had the most awful experience with the woman with light grey blonde hair on a Sunday 23rd june at 1:45. Been here many times but I asked for a certain slice of frittata and she aggressively told me with horrible tone that they are all the same size which it wasn’t, I didn’t want an end piece as they are too crusty for my liking and at first went to refuse my request with a huffy splutter, I had to continue to ask for that specific slice and she tutted and rolled her eyes at me. I’m fuming. No other cafe has ever had a problem with me asking for a specific slice in ALL MY LIFE until now and I’ve travelled so many places around the world. She was absolutely HORRIBLE. I will never return just because of her. Disturbing horrible old miserable woman. HORRID. You should be ashamed of your service today. Probably time to leave your job when you hate customers who like to choose what they are paying for.

Oliver and Jess. Thank you for going the extra mile for me and my husband. The cafe was just about to shut and after a 8 hour drive they stayed open late to make us a fantastic coffee and sandwich! Amazing service, if you’re ever in the area definitely pop in.

Had the worst bacon and cheese croissant you could imagine. Looked like roadkill and the croissant and the bacon were as tough as wood. Embarrassing that it was served in that state. Coffees were fine though, and the young staff friendly enough.
