Terrible service. Usually limited stock, expensive as well. Staff unhelpful when asked for anything. Barking at people to use the self service and the manager is an absolute bar steward… very rude. Very dismissive. Looks down his nose at people and is very rude to peoples children as I observed on several occasions.

If you read my reviews you'll know I hate UK style bad service. I haven't been in the Downtown Co-op for several years and was really happily surprised. It's a much nicer store now, pretty well stocked and we were served by a smiling, happy staff member. It makes so much difference. And she wasn't the only one in the shop either. Car park is too small but that's always been the same. I did get straight in though and a few spare places too. Good shop.

Well equipped small supermarket. Most things you need but obviously not the range Inthe larger stores. Reasonable parking convenient location to pop into. Friendly staff, easy self checkout machines too.
