Went in coop this afternoon to buy a jar of coffee. A member of staff accused me of stealing just because I had a shopping bag in my hand from morrisons

Decent layout like any other Co-op it changed daily to get you to do a lap or two trying to find what you wanted and get you to buy other stuff on offer around the store. Nice veg and fruit selection and bakery bit at the back. Loads of parking and staff friendly and helpful

Well lit and modern. Staff friendly. Customer toilet off to the rear. A bit more expensive than the bigger stores but to be expected. They do stock refillable cereals (muesli, bran flakes etc.)

Nice store after recent refurbishment but the most expensive store for miles around.
Typical of the Cooperative group.

Edit: Further to the owner's reply. I've looked into the offers, and concluded the store is still very expensive when compared to other leading supermarkets. There are so many Co-ops and they have tremendous purchasing power which unfortunately does not trickle down to their customers. I feel sorry for the elderly people in this village who have no option but to use this caring, sharing Co-op!
